My replacement GPU came in today. I've been using one borrowed from a friend while I waited for the EVGA RMA process. (Thanks friends) It was a retired card that was well past its prime but it held up in SCII when I set the graphics very low. Well, wish me luck with the replacement process, I have to shut down my computer and pull it apart again.
Question of the Day:
Have you ever built a computer?
cool...this is nice
ReplyDeleteI should buy one!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
ReplyDeleteYes I have built a few computers. I usually centered them around the graphics card instead of the processor. So I would buy case, fans, and everything to get the best airflow on the GPU, while just making sure I was using the best possible heatsink and arctic ice for the CPU. I liked having a really solid PSU as well.
I was going to build another the last time I needed to upgrade, but I compared parts prices to buying a higher end Asus gaming laptop, and I ended up getting the laptop because it was cheaper and one portable unit.
wow, this card looks like a beast
ReplyDeletethat's amazing, keep it up
ReplyDeletenice, this is awesome
ReplyDeleteinteresting, I'll check back tomorrow
ReplyDeleteWell technically my friend built it for me while I watched...
ReplyDeleteNo girl, I can't do it. I know what I may find inside a pc case, but I cannot build one.
ReplyDeleteSweet, hope it works better than the last one.
ReplyDeleteCool story, bro!
